Lyons
Public Library has just received word that they have
received a 2006 Library Services and Technology Grant. This grant
money
will be used to
purchase four public access computers for use in the
new library building.
This project is supported in part by the Institute of Museum and
Library Services under the provisions of the Library
Services and Technology Act as administered by
the Nebraska Library Commission.
Donations and Memorials may be made out to: Lyons Public Library.
Foundation grants, memorials, state and federal funds have been used to assist patrons with current software and technology. Donations requiring taxable deduction should be made to: Lyons Community Foundation, P.O. Box 182, Lyons, NE 68038 and earmarked for the Lyons Public Library. Please consider a donation to help fund the new building by earmarking your donation for the library building fund and sending it to the foundation.
