Pre-School Story time: Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.  We have two sessions this spring.  It will continue until school is out mid-May.

Special events for school age children are held throughout the year. 

Summer Reading Program activities are held on the Tuesdays of June. 

• Pre-school through 1st graders meet at 10 a.m.

• 2nd graders through 5th graders meet at 1 p.m.

Monthly book discussion group, Page Turners, meets on the 2nd Friday of the month at 9:30 a.m.

July 4th the library hosts a Humanities Council Cultural Arts Program for the Bluegrass festival and has a float in the parade.

The library also hosts a Festival of Trees fundraiser in November on alternating years.

Community members are involved in library planning through CLIP (Continuous Library Improvement Planning) each fall.

We hosted the Community Coffee April 7, 2006 as part of National Library Week. It was well attended and folks enjoyed the tours and opportunity to be in the new library and meeting room.
