The plant manufactures alfalfa dehy pellets. It employs many people in the summer, running three shifts. The plant usually operates during the winter months running baled alfalfa hay from the summer. It also employs people during the winter to repair all of the machinery and equipment so they are ready to go back to three shifts in the summer. The plant can produce between 13,000 to 24,000 tons of alfalfa pellets per year.
